Windows merges texture and material to captivate the viewer’s senses. The softness of the warm exterior allows the viewer to feel a sense of comfort and security which contrasts sharply with the rugged brass and gold metal cutouts, which provide a distorted, elusive view of reality, transforming the familiar into something intriguingly ambiguous. This interaction of materials encourages exploration of the blurred lines between the tangible and the abstract, the comfort of the known and discomfort of the unknown.
